The role
We're looking for an IT Support Engineer to join our technical team.
This is a varied role where you'll provide both remote and onsite support to a wide range of business clients while also contributing to projects, deployments and ongoing technology improvements. Working across a broad range of technologies and business environments, you'll help clients keep their systems secure, reliable and running efficiently.

What you'll be doing
Provide remote and onsite technical support to a wide range of business clients.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, Microsoft 365, networking and infrastructure issues.
Install, configure and maintain business IT systems and cloud services.
Support Windows desktop, server and Microsoft 365 environments.
Contribute to technology projects, deployments, upgrades and migrations.
Document your work and manage support requests through to resolution.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver reliable, professional and customer-focused IT support.
Continue developing your technical skills through ongoing learning and hands-on experience.
Who we're looking for
We're looking for someone with a solid technical foundation, a positive attitude and a genuine willingness to learn. While not every candidate will meet every criterion, the experience below gives an indication of what we're hoping to find.
Skills and experience:
- Previous experience supporting IT environments.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365 and business IT systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- A good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, switching, wireless networking, etc.).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical users.
- A positive attitude, a willingness to learn and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Nice to have, but not essential:
- Experience supporting macOS environments.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, virtualisation platforms, cybersecurity solutions, VoIP systems or PowerShell.
- Relevant IT qualifications or industry certifications.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
- A full driving licence.
